About Us

At The Meat Counter, we prioritise quality and provenance. We use grass-fed free-range Cornish beef from award winning butcher, Philip Warren, as well as organic buns from local artisan bakery, Da Bara. Don't be fooled by our name though! We also offer an impressive vegan and vegetarian menu, all made in house from scratch.

With Cornwall’s best collection of bad record covers, a classic arcade machine, hand-spun shakes and locally brewed craft beers, we are proud to have won the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence five years running and be featured in the current Lonely Planet guide.

Suppliers

All our beef and pork is supplied by Philip Warren, an award-winning Cornish family butchers and farm. It is 100% free range and is farmed locally using traditional methods. Our rare breed 6oz burger patties are made from selected cuts of 21 day dry-aged beef.
